we had a trip to sysmex today, and guess what we found out.
you know how each and every single one of us always have had difficulty in trying to look at the white/redbloodcells morphology, platelets etc through the microscope,
just to detect if the patient has leukaemia and not just that, what type of leukaemia bla bla
or if the patient has anaemia and not just that, what type of anaemia bla bla
okay you get the drift.
imagine doing more than 20 slides, trust me.
your eyes will hurt like mad.
but guess what?
sysmex has the awesome machine with an artificial intelligence that is soooooo good.
their R&D has done a magnificent job and prolly save all the medical technologists' vision and money to invest on thick glasses.
they can detect 4000 different types of morphology ON A SINGLE CELL!!!!!!!
the machine can do all the detection and the only thing we have to do is just sit down and verify!!!!
that means you dont have to look at the microscope, the AI will do it for you.
they even capture all the cells morphology screen shots for e.g if they find 100 leucocytes within that blood film, tadaaaaaa you can see all the 100 leucocytes on the screen.
CRYSTAL CLEAR.
wahhaha
kan senangkan kerje kite orang. fraser, go buy that machine.
all hospitals/labs should def invest in that machine since not alot of labs have done so since its supposed to be really expensive.
its gooddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
(then i might prolly consider working in the lab wahahaha)
